What is Resveratrol?

Resveratrol is a natural extract that comes from grape seeds and Japanese knotweed. It can also be found in berries, such as blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.
Resveratrol is an antioxidant (protects cells from oxidative stress) polyphenol* compound that has been found to be an anti-aging “antidote” and helps prevent inflammation.
* Polyphenols are natural substances produced during the life functions of plants, whose most important property is the antioxidant effect, which enables them to neutralize harmful free radicals produced in our body and cells.

The effect of Resveratrol

The relationship between resveratrol and the eyes has already been examined by numerous studies, from which it can be concluded that its consumption can have a positive effect on the treatment of problems and symptoms that we cannot write about in more detail here.

In a study conducted by the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, it was shown that Resveratrol improves insulin sensitivity, thereby helping to maintain healthy blood sugar levels.
